ANM (Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery)

3.     Approval: Approved by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Medical Education & Research vide Memo no.2/15/09-3HBII/404 Dated 23-01-09.

4.     Duration: One and Half (1 ½ ) years Regular course

5.     Fee Structure: As per Govt. of Punjab instructions from time to time.

Admission

• Eligibility: (a) There will be no maximum/upper age limit for the admission. (b) The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of Secondary certificate, 10th Class or Central Board education or a recognized equivalent public examination. Subjects of study equivalent to those prescribed by the C.B.S.E. for the Class X with minimum 45% marks. (c) Admission is subjected to satisfactory, medical examination report.

• Admission Process: As per the Academic merit.

• Reservation of Seats: As per Punjab Govt. policy.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Course

1.     Recognition: Recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) vide:-
(i) Certificate No. 18-26/3134-INC, Resolution No. 130/02/Jan/2008 Dated 29 Feb, 2008.
(ii) Certificate No. 18-29/3134-INC Resolution No. 138/02/AUG/2008 Dated 12 Nov. 2008.
(iii) Certificate No. 18-26/3134-INC Resolution No.143/02/Jan/2009 Dated 04 March,2009.

Admission

1.     Eligibility:
(a) There will be no maximum/upper age limit for the admission. (b) Minimum Educational qualification; (i) 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics ,Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregate of 40% marks.
(ii) Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course( revised from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council)
(iii) ANM training i.e. 10+1 1/2 years training should also have passed equivalent examination.
(iv) Students shall be medically fit
(v) In addition to the above ,admission procedure can be laid down by State Nursing Council. Examination Boards (S.I.B.E. ,M.I.B. , C.M.A.I.)
